entree ERP vs. Alternatives in 2024

Entrée ERP has EFood ERP and WinFDS as some of its main competitors.

EFood ERP helps food distributors manage their full supply chain. Its features include financial management, inventory control, orders & shipping as well as customer management. There is also support for equipment maintenance management with preventive maintenance, repairs as well as refitting where needed. Additionally warehouse management is available with quality control and compliance standards in built to maintain food safety requirements. The product is also available only as an on premise solution.

Entrée ERP in comparison addresses similar requirements for food distributors, but also provides dashboards and business intelligence tools to monitor both operations as well as performance management. The product can also handle incentives & commissions for sales personnel, with a separate module to handle pricing & costing to address promotions, matrix pricing, forecasting as well as special orders.

Then there is WinFDS which includes similar core features as Entrée ERP. However it provides additional options such as support for tobacco management, fixed assets management, food commodities tracking as well as standing orders which may need to be fulfilled on a recurring basis. The product is also web enabled so that customers can place orders and track status online and there is fax integration for communication with customers & suppliers.

While Entrée ERP does not address these features currently it does provide an instant messaging platform for communication between employees. Additionally there is support for Google Maps to help sales locate potential prospects, as well as a route planner to optimize the time taken to visit customers.
