Captain Up vs. Alternatives in 2024

The major competitors for Captain Up are Evoq Engage and Enterprise Hive.

Evoq Engage utilizes a user community with gaming mechanics for incentivizing both sales & service requirements. Its features includes real-time rewards with assignment of badges & reputation points to signify performance levels, as well as leader boards to track performance against others and encourage competition. Additionally there are dashboards to monitor user behavior, adapt gaming challenges to major trends, as well as improve rewards to encourage branding and product recognition.

Captain Up on the other hand also focuses on community based gamification. However in addition to the main features of Evoq Engage, this product also looks to game mechanics to encourage long term customer participation and engagement. It provides additional features such as loyalty programs and referral based incentives that can be tied to gaming milestones achieved. Additionally there are social recognition options to identify key customers, advertise their achievement and encourage multi-level game participation as well.

Then there is Enterprise Hive which rewards customer feedback against defined challenges, completion of product or service learning programs, as well as social network referral targets. Additionally there are similar game mechanics options as with Captain Up to attain rewards, but there are also internal collaboration tools through which results can be shared as well.

While Captain Up does not currently support these features, it does provide business analytic tools to track gaming results and competition performance to adjust programs to get better customer engagement. Additionally the product provides an open architecture for integration to multiple third party systems.
