FaciliWorks Essentials vs. Alternatives in 2024

Some of the major competitors for FaciliWorks Essentials are Maintenance 5000 and NetFacilities CMMS.

NetFacilities CMMS is a maintenance management solution which is delivered via the cloud. The product is based on workflows and its features include asset tracking & work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, as well as inventory management for spare parts requirements. Additionally there is support for mobile device access by technicians for work review and status update, as well as supplier management to handle third party maintenance needs.

In comparison FaciliWorks CMMS is offered both as an on premise as well as hosted solution. It includes the core features available in NetFacilities CMMS, but also includes options to manage equipment calibration through direct interface with their control software. There is also support for compliance with health & safety regulations, along with analytic tools for breakdown review to implement revised procedures to prevent future reoccurrences.

Then there is Maintenance 5000 which includes support for service level agreements to govern the type and level of maintenance support to be provided to customers. There is also an integrated help desk to handle new service requests as well as track their current status. Other options include disaster recovery procedures to handle unexpected equipment breakdowns, as well as a resource manager to match technicians by their skills with the outstanding work orders that need to be addressed.

While FaciliWorks CMMS does not support all of these features, it does include a documentation system to manage service & warranty contracts.
