TimeForce vs. Alternatives in 2024

The main competitors for TimeForce are EasyClocking and AcroTime.

EasyClocking provides a hosted time & attendance solution which can be integrated with biometric & card based time clocks, as well as PC & Mobile time clocks. Additionally it provides GPS tracking on smart phones & mobile devices to monitor employee work locations, as well as the status of work completion. EasyClocking also provides features for scheduling, self service portals to track time based accruals & leave requests, as well as job costing by projects.

Timeforce on the other hand is a similar hosted solution but includes integration to both company & third party payroll systems. In addition the product can handle overtime & shift requirements, as well as compensatory time allocations. Another important point is that employee time can be allocated to multiple projects or departments for more efficient job costing analysis.

Then there is Acrotime which has inbuilt support for pay rule definition to determine employee compensation accurately based on actual work times. There is also support for timesheet approval using workflows and an audit trail to validate time & attendance information. Additionally employee expenses can be tracked in relation to work time, with exception tracking to flag supervisors for irregular attendance. Finally there is a marketplace which includes add on applications to provide functionality enhancements to the product.

Timeforce does not include these features currently but supports schedule forecasting by mapping resource & project requirements with employee time availability. Additionally this can be used to do job cost estimation as well as allocation optimization exercises to minimize cost overruns.
