DirectLine - FM vs. Alternatives in 2024

The key competitors for DirectLine FM are Que Center and Maintenance 5000.

Que Center provides an asset maintenance management solution which supports workflow automation, and is modular so companies can choose the ones best suited for their requirements. Its features include asset information management, equipment preventive maintenance & scheduling, as well as spare parts inventory management. Other features include business intelligence tools with dashboards to monitor asset performance, as well as analytics to determine working feasibility and retirement age to improve asset forecasting.

DirectLine FM on the other hand provides a similar solution but includes some additional modules such as contract & warranty management, procurement & capital planning, health & safety procedure compliance, as well as an integrated help desk to handle maintenance requests. There is also support for project management to handle complex servicing requirements which require planning to ensure limited down time, as well a special module for hazardous material handling & tracking.

Then there is Maintenance 5000 which offers direct integration to many leading ERP solutions along with mobile device access of the application as well. It also supports service level agreements to govern the type and level of service to be provided. Additionally the product also has an intelligent scheduler to match the appropriately skilled technician with the necessary servicing requirements.

DirectLine FM does not support all of these features but does provide mobility solutions. There is also a feature for space inventory management to properly allocate equipment within its storage area to ensure that available space usage is sufficient for maintenance work.
