Total ETO vs. Alternatives in 2024

The major competitors for Total ETO are Encompix ERP and SysPro ETO.

Encompix ERP is an enterprise manufacturing solution designed for Engineer to Order manufacturers. It is workflow based and includes a collaboration platform to connect design & shop floor teams to optimize the production process. Its features include financials, project management, spare parts inventory and engineering design integration. Additionally the product can integrate with CRM for customer management and Microsoft Project for planning & cost management.

Questica ETO on the other hand addresses the same solution area, but can also handle sales management, job estimation & quotations, as well as procurement. Additionally along with inventory management it also addresses incoming & outgoing distribution of stock to meet production needs. The manufacturing module is also integrated with design packages such as AutoCad and SolidWorks to create multiple product designs for prototyping and testing prior to release to production.

Another option is provided by SysPro ETO which provides a collaboration platform to connect product suppliers and production engineers to ensure manufacturing requirements are properly filled. Additionally the product can support complex multi-level production designs which require both assembly and disassembly kits to be integrated with the manufacturing shop floor process. Other options include manufacturing costing to track materials requirements as well as resource allocations.

Questica ETO however does not support all of these features, but it does include product installation and service management as part of its options for clients. Additionally the product can be integrated to other customer applications for financial management, payroll and project management.
