Prices and Plans Compared

The free plan offers limited boards and workspaces, but does not offer users advanced checklists, saved searches, and unlimited storage. The Standard Plan offers users 1000 workspaces and custom fields, which gives it an edge over the free plan. However, the Standard plan lacks the essential feature for data export, admin & security, and calendar & timeline views.

The Premium plan allows users to build collections with unlimited workspaces and command runs. Moreover, users get priority support in the Premium plan, which is not available in the free and standard plans.

Although the Premium plan works well for organizations having basic requirements of project management, the Enterprise plan gives Free SSO and user provisioning with Atlassian Access, which is a great feature if you already use Atlassian products.

As compared to its competitors like BaseCamp and, the pricing plans offered by Trello are in the lower range within the project management software. But offers email marketing features within the same pricing plans, which makes it a considerable option if your organization has to do marketing and team management under a single platform.

Our Veredict

Trello offers free plans as well as a trial version for its use for project management. The users can also connect with Trello support to get an extended trial version time. Although there is a single additional payment, some of the competitors of Trello such as Click Up require users to pay an additional fee for every add-on purchased by the user.

Trello offers a free version for users who have just started aligning their projects and tasks. Also, for a price of $5 the users can get additional features which are not bad considering that alternatives are on the expensive side. Moreover, customize Trello as per your requirements, which again is a benefit over other project management tools.
