Fountain vs. Alternatives in 2024

Fountain is one of the leading large-scale and cloud-based recruitment software. It competes with the best software, which includes: Zoho Recruit, SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, and Indeed.
  • Functionality: When compared with its competitors, Fountain basic features are average. Greenhouse, Indeed, and Zoho Recruit are easier to use, set up, and navigate than Fountain. However, companies love Fountain for its ease of administration and its superior quality products.
  • Customers/Industry: Compared to its competitors, Fountain is not very suited to small companies. Large companies that hire hourly workers are better suited to use this software. However, Zoho Recruit, Indeed, and Greenhouse are used by small, midsize, and large companies.
  • Cost: Except for Zoho Recruit, none of Fountain competitors or Fountain itself provides their pricing information, though Fountain is regarded as low-cost. The Standard Edition plan, the least expensive in Zoho Recruit, costs $30 per month.
  • Cloud-based/on-premise: Fountain and all of its competitors are all cloud-based ATS software.
  • Scalability: Compared to its competitors, Fountain is more used by large companies. When you have a small or middle-sized company, it is more advisable to use Indeed or Zoho Recruit.
  • Support: Fountain has an email/help desk platform, FAQs/Forum, knowledge base, phone support, and chat, but It does not have a 24/7 (live rep). Indeed has all these features but not phone support. The greenhouse has neither phone support nor a 24/7 (live rep).
  • Training: Compared to its competitors, Fountain and Greenhouse provide in-person training, videos, online live training, Documentation, and webinars. However, Indeed only provides documentation and webinars.
