Buildertrend is a cloud-based construction software for small, medium, and large contractors and home builders. Its key features include online schedule and change order management, warranty services, job costing, proposal generation, customer portal, estimating, and more. These functions allow users to save time, reduce cost, and improve customer experience. BuilderTrend was founded in 2006 operated by up to 500 employees. It is currently headquartered at Omaha, Nebraska.

BuilderTREND Features

BuilderTREND comes with budgeting, project scheduling, bid management, change orders, document management, lead management, warranty management and daily logs features. The scheduling tool includes custom schedule templates, automatic notifications, multiple views and automatic schedule shifts to help users meet deadlines. The order change module includes project cost summary, easy CO creation and automatic notifications. Users can also manage all their project related documents, photos and other related with the unlimited data storage feature.

The on demand collaboration feature can help users to organize comments by project, user or activity whether the comment is done from mobile or PC. Users can search by topics and share them with specific people only. The lead management part comes with custom lead integration, mass marketing campaigns and analyzing key data features. Other notable features are QuickBooks integration support, portal for clients, to-do list and mobile access.

Plangrid is a construction software for all business sizes like Buildertrend. Plangrid pricing is at the same range as Buildertrend. When features are being compared, Buildertrend offer more than Plangrid such as accounting integration, bid management, budget control, calendar management, customer accounts, electronic payment, and more. Both are accessible via mobile apps and other devices.

Both high vendor reputation online but Buildertrend is a better choice than Plangrid for all-inclusive construction software. Raken is a field management and construction system for small to large companies as Buildertrend. However, Raken is cheaper ($15 a month) than Buildertrend.

Buildertrend has more accounting, customer management, project management, and labor management features than Raken such as customer portals, calendar management, employee tracking, email marketing, proposal generation, and more. Though more expensive, Buildertrend still is more beneficial than Raken due to its wider range of significant features.

BuilderTREND Pricing Information

Buildertrend pricing is lower than the average cost of construction software. It has two plans depending on how large the company is. First is for small or medium businesses which are $299 a month for three users plus $39 per month per additional users. The second plan is for big enterprises which need more than 20 users.

It has pre-sale process features like quick and paperless bid requests, single entry estimates, CRM, customer login, saved and reusable proposals, and automated email marketing. Its Project Management functions include daily logs, to do list, scheduling, messaging, plan mark up, and documentation.

It is also complete with financial tools like payment processing, invoicing, purchase order processing, QuickBooks and Xero integrations, time clock, and change orders. Its Customer Management tools offer customer login, surveys and reviews, communication platforms, and mobile app.
