GiftLogic offers inventory management services of automated ordering, barcode generation, back orders, inventory classification and forecasting, inventory matrix, item lookup by attribute, price tag customization, serial number assignment, and discount scheduling. Other important capabilities include email marketing, label printing, payment and purchase history, standard discounts, targeted mailing lists, and others.

IVend is a cloud based POS solution which can handle multi-channel retailing requirements. It supports traditional POS machines; mobile devices as well as e-commerce enabled web stores for customer sales. Additionally it can handle offline transactions with an automatic syncing of all transactions once there is network availability. The product also provides customer loyalty programs and includes a “Passes” scheme which sends mobile QR codes to customers’ smart phones which can be redeemed for promotional discounts at POS stations.

GiftLogic on the other hand does not include support for POS access via mobile devices or web stores. However it does include an option for installment payments to enable customers to handle large order payments. Additionally the product provides integration to Quickbooks for financial management and TimeClock to track time & attendance for employees.

Then there is Lightspeed which can also handle the sales management process which includes quotations & orders. Additionally while the product is based on site at a customer’s site and networked to multiple POS stations, it also provides online access via the web for remote monitoring & review. There is also a reporting module which allows customer report building to meet business requirements.

GifLogic on the other hand is an on premise solution and is more focused on single store solutions. However it does offer the option to handle custom orders from clients as well as includes a gift registry program to manage customer loyalty schemes and rewards.
