VENTUS is integrated business management software for construction and service markets. It was launched by Vertical Market Software in 1984. The software provides project management, estimating and accounting services for your business. It finds its application mainly in residential remodeling and heavy highway construction.

VENTUS is most suitable for small and medium sized businesses. It specializes in electrical, mechanical and HVAC trades in energy and petroleum industries. Intended users of VENTUS are general contractors, specialty contractors and construction managers. VENTUS aims to address the needs of the construction companies operating field service such as construction of highways, bridges and buildings. Major customers include The Rooster Group Inc., Maximus Exportaciones and Danfoss SA.

Main features and functionalities

The overall functionality of VENTUS can be divided into four modules: project management, estimating, accounting and service management. The software is typically purchased as a complete integrated suite. It is typically ideal for medium and large construction businesses operating at revenues higher than $1 million.

The main features of the project management module are change orders and equipment management. It is available in the form of online construction management software as well as mobile application. The estimating module features cost database and item database which allows you to estimate project and material costs and maintain the related database.
