Competitors & Alternatives

Namely has a number of competitors and two of the main ones are HCM One and Sapien HRMS.

HCM One includes features for leave management, performance management, benefits & compensation management, as well as time & attendance management. It offers companies a number of deployment options to suit their business requirements including an open source model wherein companies can modify the product exactly the way they wish to match their business requirements. Otherwise they can choose a cloud based solution either as a free license without support & training, or a priced version if they require these services.

In comparison Namely provides a cloud based HR solution and an open API to easily integrate to other third party software. It focuses on payroll & benefits, performance management and human capital which include HR workflows, information and organization. Additionally it provides a collaboration platform to share employee and HR information as well as includes an option to be accessed via mobile devices. However Namely does not provide any open source or free pricing models at the moment.

Another competitor is Sapien HRMS which in addition to the HR features mentioned above also provides succession planning & resource training which Namely does not address. Another point to note is that Sapien HRMS is offered as a single tenant cloud based solution which offers better security and dedicated infrastructure. In comparison while Namely is cloud based it works on the multi-tenant model which is shared amongst a variety of customers.. The full list of competitors can be found here.
